If you are currently using any of these prescription medications, please let Katie know before booking your appointment. See the following for further information on each medication:
ACCUTANE: This is an oral prescription used to treat acne patients. Using this medication causes extreme skin sensitivity and will cause damage to the skin when using any forms of exfoliation or waxing. It is required to wait 6 months - 1 year before getting any facial treatments after finishing this oral medication.
Tretinoin & Retin-A: This is a prescription topical cream that is used to treat pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, acne, and skin texture. Please inform Katie before your appointment if you are using either of these. Please discontinue use of this topical cream for 5-7 days priori to ANY facial treatment or waxing appointment.
